Belize Recado Spice

Recado spice is a native Belizean spice used in various dishes. This wonderful spice is perfect for a little taste of Belize. It has a smooth mild taste that you will enjoy with any dish. A small amount of this spice in your pot gives a true flavor of Belize. This spice comes in red or black, the black is a slightly spicier than the red. The red Recado is used in most meats and poultry. You can find this spice on the web, just Google Belize Recado.

This spice goes well with the Belizean Recipies you'll find at http://www.erecipeexpert.com/

Best Garnaches - Belizean Recipes

Garnaches is one of the best foods Belizeans are accustomed to. They are good for snacking or for dinner. This recipe is very easy to make. In Belize, grated Edam cheese is also part of the recipe. This cheese is very difficult to find anywhere else since it's imported from Holland to Belize. I will usually leave it out of the recipe or subsitute it with a shredded Sharp Colby cheese.

Trying foods from various ethnic cultures is one of the most exciting things in life. If you have never tried drinks and foods from Belize, then you are missing out on good food.
